Definition : The interaction of 3 or more people who share a common goal or purpose.

Definition : The interaction of 3 or more people who share a common goal or purpose.
Components of group communication are :
- Members - There are at least 3 people in a group. ( Ideal group are 5-7 )
- Goals - A group is united by a common goal. It is not a group if they do not have a goal with a plan to accomplish the goal.
- Working - Group members work together to achieve a goal.
- Interaction - Group communication requires interaction. They use verbal and non-verbal messages to generate meaning and establish relationships.
- Interdependence - Each group members is affected and influenced by the actions of other members.
