Group Reflection

After discussing for almost a week, we decided that Hybel & Weaver's definition of communication is the closest to our understanding. We believe that Hybel & Weaver's way of definition of communication is the best among the best. In their definition, communication is a type of interaction that involves with other person which we use to share information and beliefs. This method has been used since a long time ago. For example, when teachers teaches their student, they are interacting with all the students through verbal communication to share information. Hybel & Weaver also said that through communications, we could exchange ideas and feelings with each other. When we are trying to express our love to someone we love, we will try to show our sincerity through a sweet and lovable type of communication to capture their heart. When we're angry, we raise our voice. This is also one of the type of communication that is defined by Hybel & Weaver as a form of exchanging feelings for one another. The part of the definition made by Hybel & Weaver is communication also could be used to make plans and solve problem interpersonally whether it is in a form of small groups a team or even a media. Through communication, we need a two-way communication. To solve a problem in our daily life, we exchange ideas and brainstorm ideas with one another and through communication, we could express our ideas and command people to execute the plan. Media is also a form of communication and this type of communication is very good as it could used be spread information to the entire world easily at a very quick pace.

Communication is a process where the information or idea is transferred into other people which can change the understanding and opinion of a person finally achieve a same outcome among them. When there is communication between two or more person they will eventually start to change opinion and information which lead them to think more and automatically change their understandings about what they have been discussed. For example, when we have a meeting or discussion we will have to voice out our opinion so that everybody that take part will understand what is there to be addressed or discussed about and come out for a conclusion.
