In our previous lecture , we have studied about the definition of communication.
Our gorgeous lecturer gives us the definition of communication from four different sources which are Hyber And Weaver, Julia Wood, Devito and Wikipedia.
She asked us to decide which definition is easier to understand.
So guess what was our choice???
So...
So..
So...(truttuutttutt *sounds of trumpets* )
So our choice is Hyber and Weaver, Julia Wood, Devito,,,,,WIKIPEDIA !!
(*a round applause*)
Have you ever thought that our final choice would be Wikipedia ?????
Actually, we did choose Wikipedia..
So guys stay there!
So guys stay there!
Come, and let us show you more
about the definition of communication set by Wikipedia.
Why would we choose WIKIPEDIA ???????
Can you tell me why ???
Why you didn't know at all??Come on guys
it's okay :)
Allow me tell you why we chose Sir Wikipedia ....
The definition of communication is the interpretation in the most general way, but yet still specific enough to give a clear picture. So, its complete and easy definition. As compared to other definitions, wikipedia defined the most important aspect of communication such as, the ways people exchange ideas and what is used in order to create an effective communication. Not only that, it can be clearly understood Wikipedia's definition of communication that it is about conveying information. Instead of sending and receiving messages as defined by Devito.
Besides she asked us to decide which of the definition is clearer based on our understanding, she also asked us to give the definition of communication using our own words.back
So we resolve that the definition of communication is
the way of transferring information to the recipient and ensuring that the recipient receive the message and can give feedback.
Our lecturer had said the communication is something that you do and you get the feedback. It is something like :
"When you slap a person, and she/he will give the double or triple slap for you".
You can view the picture below and get more understanding about Communication.
